Hey people!!!!!!!!!!! It's solstice so yah, that means that the sun is gonna be on this side of the Earth for longer now. Which is pretty cool. You have to think that this celebration came around before christianity was forced upon people. In the winter their food wouldn't grow, and that would mean less food and more cold, it just all around made things harder for less rich people. So yah, drink your wassail and be happy, the days are getting longer. Now, to avoid this sounding too much like a unitariun christmas sermon, I shall talk about something else.
Soooooooooooo............ What's new? It's snowing like a dead duck outside. I can't wait to go skiing. Yah, I saw King Kong last weekend and really enjoyed it so expect a kick ass movie review on it soon. Nothing more christmasy than a giant monkey killing giant dinosaurs. What's new? Merry, oops, I mean, SEASON's GREETINGS!!!!!!!! Yep, it's that time of year again folks, when you have to buy your family something to avoid being shunned. Ba Humbug. Nah, I'm just kidding, t'is the season to be jolly. ish. It seems that the holiday is coming a bit too soon to me, though thats probably because we don't start vacation until the night before. Today it suddenly boomed on me that Brian's birthday is less than next week. WHAM. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not the religious type. Well, I'm a bit pagan. Anyways, I was doing one of my three tests which I had today when suddenly, I realized in two days we get out of school. And I was like, "WHOA!!!!" but also I still have shopping to do (capitalist fool, consumerist tool) so I was overwhelmed by a feeling of excitement, stress, and emmense pleasure (I won't say what that was because of...). But, anyways yah t'is the season. Now here's a list of actual good christmas movies: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Monty Python's Life of Brian, Eight Crazy Nights, and ummm...... more that I can't think of. Farewell.

What's new? I had a fun weekend, volunteered at this thingwhich was actually really fun because my friends were there too. And I'm finished my summative!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(!!!) I have to keep up, sometimes I write a whole bunch of words that interest people, other times I'm just "ummmmmmmmm..........." So ya, expect a new improved Jonah. Kick Ass Movie Review #2: Man On Fire

Ok, time for another movie review, this time for Man On Fire (7/10). It's a revenge thriller starring Denzel Washington as a tough as hell bodyguard who grows a father-daughter relationship with the the rich little girl who he's protecting (Dakota Fanning, for the trillionth time) who then gets kidnapped (and eventually murdered) leading Denzel to quote: "anyone who benifitted from it, anyone who had any part in it, anyone who even looks at me, I'm gonna kill the bastards." The movie proceeds with disturbing torture scenes that almost rival Marv's story in Sin City for squeamishness, including the classic explosive shoved up the rectum. The movie is more interesting than thrilling, and when I say interesting I mean it in a good way. But if you want to see an amazing/actionpacked revenge flick, you're probably better off with Kill Bill. But this movie is worth watching for good acting and interesting story (there are also neat facts, apparently on average in Mexico City there are 60 kidnappings per day). So ya, see this movie when you don't need anything too intelligent but want something good and violent.

Ok, well this is interesting, my friend magically made my number buttons work(!!!!!!!!!!!)
so harray hurrah and all that shit. I'm really tired today so I apologise if I've immensley insulted anyone. Ugggggggghhhhhhhh. I had a great weekend. I saw a sens game and was all "whoa!!! DUDE!!! why the fuck am I talking like this?!?!?! DUDE????". It was an amazing game. I won't go into detail because I'm not Don Cherry but it was a really good game. (Don Cherry's a complete fuckhead) (sorry Don). Anyways...... I went bowling which I know is mockable, but we had fun fucking with the establishment. Oh my god. I'm writing journal like!!!! This isn't me!!!!! I know nobody's interested in my weekend!!!!!! But too bad because I'm tired as hell, and bitchy. I'm gonna start a new poll for the 3 people that read this blog. The question is, who would you vote for if you could vote, and if you can vote, who are you voting for? ( this has to do with the surprise election from the gomery/sponsorship scandal thing) Sooooooo ya. Do it this time if you can and you aren't afraid of the conservative army forcing you to vote for Canada's demise.

Ok I haven't forgotten how to use exclamation marks, for some fucking creepy reason my one, two, and three buttons aren't working........... wait a tick...... the only top buttons that are working are 5, and 6. WHAT THE FUCKING HELL???????????????? My keyboard's severely fucked up. So forgive me if I write like a robot for a little while. I am also very sorry that you all had to see that disturbing photo of ahnuld/ the governator but it's like censorship to not let me put a photo which has extremely little to do with the post. Anyways, federal election is coming up eh? I personally [and I say this as a strong NDP supporter] don't think the election is a good idea. I mean, let's face it people, there's too many stiff asses that are afraid to vote NDP 'cause they think Stephen Harper or Paul Martin are the coolest guys in the world [the old, rich people]. The least horrible thing that might come out of this election is the liberals with a minority government again. The worst part of this is that it gives the conservatives a good chance of ruling Canada [it's a death thats worse than fate]. So personally,I say no election yet, at least Jack Layton can still boss around Paul for another three years. But if an election comes, do NOT hesitate, vote NDP.
